For those of you that are looking for a Christmas present for someone who likes their gadgets, why not take a look at the new smart bulbs that we have in stock!

At the moment we have standard bayonet fitting colour changing bulbs, producing the same sort of output as a standard 60W bulb.  In our test, the bulbs produce a cool white light when in the default "white" mode and the brightness is good.  When you switch to colour mode, the output drops but the range of selectable colours is endless.

You can setup the bulb by using an app available on both Android and iPhone and, once connected to your WiFi network, you can control the bulb colour, on/off state and even set a schedule for when it is on.

For those of you who have a smart home hub, such as HomeSeer or Home Assistant, then the bulbs are based on the Tuya system, and can be controlled directly from your hub (as long as your hub can interface with Tuya directly).

Finally, and best of all, it is possible to connect the bulbs to Google or Alexa so that they can be voice activated.
